We had 15 Day Best Birding and Classic Wildlife Safari in Uganda. It was very nice experience though not a very easy one. The gorilla ( especially this) and chimpanzee trekkings were quite challenging in physical sense. A porter was a must in gorilla trekking. We had a very professional and nice guide with us all the time and also the other guides in National Parks were very professional. They found us many birds and recognized them well.

In our safari there were too much sitting in the car and the car was not very comfortable. We even had to take some luggages inside the car and the space there was very limited. For vegetarian the food was very similar almost the whole trip (beans, peas, carrots, potatoes, rice and eggs for protein source) and usually same way prepared.

I contacted maraka tours sometime last year to organize a safari to relax and unwind after a crazy COVID period. They were very fast in their responses, gave me a clear list on places that would interest me and a clear quotation. Beautifully crafted and taking us through the long history of the stalactites and stalactites, hot springs was a superb experience. I can not forget the walks through the natural forests, boat cruising, camp fire, sumptuous meals, extraordinary accommodation. The rides on the roads were marvelous.
