4 Day Gorilla Tracking & Wildlife Moments in Uganda

This trip gives you an opportunity to visit the pristine natural forest –Bwindi including Bwindi Impenetrable NP and Lake Mburo NP. Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

When you arrive at Entebbe International Airport, you will be received by the assigned Maraka Tours and Safaris guide who will meet and welcome you to Uganda. Thereafter, you will transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. Just in case you arrive at night or late in the evening you will be taken to a hotel for an overnight. If you reach Lake Mburo NP late in the evening, you can do a night game drive which is usually amazing. However, package, it’s optional and can be done at an extra cost.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive in LMNP & Transfer to Bwindi INP

After breakfast go for an exciting game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. On this game drive, expect to see the Eland Antelope and Zebras in large numbers, Topis, Impalas, Buffaloes and other savannah park animals. There is an option of doing the morning bush-park walk. This is also done at extra cost of USD 30 per person it’s guided by an armed ranger-guide.  After the walk or game drive, proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On reaching Bwindi you will check in and relax at your patio or bar as you wait for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Gorilla tracking and then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi Area

After breakfast, drive to the briefing point also called rangers’ post. Tracking start at 8.30am. Thereafter, you will enter Bwindi Forest for your memorable adventure. The time taken to locate these giant gorillas, depend on where they were left the previous day. Each gorilla group, is tracked by 8 people only and you will be allowed an hour in their presence.  Spending time observing these gentle but endangered giants is very exciting. After trekking return to the lodge, check out and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi which is actually an archipelago (a group of 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water). This fantastic view makes it most magical to be admired all day.

Day 4: Transfer To Entebbe International Airport

 At Lake Bunyonyi have a tranquil breakfast with full the spectacular view of the Bunyonyi little islands.  After breakfast, drive to Kampala and Entebbe via Kabale, Ntungamo, Mbarara and Masaka Road, arriving in the late evening for your flight back home.
