Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Ajai Wildlife reserve are the only places where you can find Rhinos in the wild. in Uganda. Besides, white Rhinos, the sanctuary offers a wide variety of bird species and other wildlife. At Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary one can do rhino trekking, birding including shoebill trek, game viewing nature hikes and. canoe cruises.
You will be picked from your hotel or residence, by our professional guide at 7.00 am. You’ll drive northwards taking Kampala – Gulu Highway to Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch. The wildlife ranch has become a popular destination for tourists looking for adventure. On this trip, you will do Rhino trekking, birding, and canoe rides. From Kampala to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary is about 3 hours drive, therefore, you’ll arrive at 10:00 and go for Rhino tracking. This activity will take you about 2 hours. After Rhino trekking, you’ll have lunch, and set head to Kampala. You will arrive by 6:00 pm. You will be dropped off at your residence, hotel, or airport.
No accommodation is need here but we shall have meals, transport, water for drinking and all the activities that we shall do there.
